The previous two years she was a post-doctoral researcher at the Localisation Research Centre in the Centre for Next Generation of Localization (CNGL) project. Her current research focuses on multimodality (speech-gesture) and dialogue systems with relation to assisted living environments. Dimitra Anastasiou has been working since October 2010 as a researcher in the departments of Languages and Literary Studies and Computer Science at the University of Bremen, Germany in the project Spatial Cognition. She has been attending courses, such as Introduction to Computational Linguistics, Word Sense Disambiguation, Statistical Methods in Corpus Linguistics, Highly lexicalized grammars and automatic analysis, and Translation Technology she is particularly interested in speech recognition and synthesis tools.ĭr.
